Poet Camisha Jones Comes to Michelle Obama’s Defense
During her tenure as First Lady of the United States of America, Michelle Obama has come under attack for just about everything that hateful, ignorant persons could think of; from wearing the same Easter dress more than once out in public, to being what they deemed “too muscular” for a woman, and, of course, the infamous comparisons to another former first lady, Jackie Onassis.
Despite all of it, she remained seemingly unprovoked; the epitome of grace and class, never lowering herself to the level of those who viciously criticized her.
One poet isn’t having it, though, and has come to the former First Lady’s defense.
