Trinidad & Tobago to Host “Bra Festival”
The twin island of Trinidad and Tobago may have gone down in the Guinness Book of Records for the nation with the most federal holidays, but it may pretty soon set another record for being the island with the quirkiest festivals.
The twin island will host its first annual “Bra Festival” entitled “BRAVO”, an acronym for Bras Really Add Value Overall.
Free to the public, the Bra Festival will cater to all women, but will put special emphasis on women with a fuller bust who struggle to find the right bra size, as well as bras that are stylish and affordable.
Peridot Webster-Steele, owner of Peri’s Plus and founder of the Bra Festival, stated,
“The Bra Festival was born out of building women’s self-confidence and will coincide with the tenth anniversary of Peri’s Plus. We plan to celebrate in a big way by having a variety of bras and bras accessories along with other industry related items available for sale to all women – from top brands around the world, and in all shapes and sizes.”
The Bra Festival will be held October 28 at Signature Hall, Chaguanas, in central Trinidad.
